This post is my inner monologue coming out… so bare with me 🙂
For a few years now I’ve struggled with how to package my sessions. I really want to ensure that families have something printed, on the walls and in albums to share with generations to come!! This means there will be changes coming soon to JLS – but in the mean time I wanted to break into this with the family special coming up.
I’m going to offer to do the family sessions for free!! Â Now this doesn’t mean you walk away with everything for ‘free’ what it means is that I will be providing my time, creative talent and processing of the images without charge. Â I will however be asking you to come back into the studio to view the images and then order what you would like! Â I will take a $100 retainer to hold your time – but that goes towards your order once you come in. Â I know that I will always offer a digital images with my packages as it’s simply what many of you want to have for sharing with family and friends. Â What I want you to start thinking about is the reason you have come to me in the first place; to capture your family, event or precious newborn professionally. Â You’ve come because you want to proudly display those you love in your home – at your work and with your extended family. Â These images should be printed to the highest of standards, or why else would you invest your time and money to have me capture them!
I am excited about these changes – but also nervous. Â I do not want to be ‘over priced’ but need to value the product for what it is, art! Â I have spent years developing my skill, learning and expanding. Â I’ve invested an incredible amount of personal time and money to get to where I am – often at the expense of my own family! Â This isn’t just a job for me, it’s a passion that lights up for each and every client that books with me. Â Â I so love and appreciate all of you, I love that I have had the opportunity to share in the most magical moments together! Â It is truly and honour for me to think about how many people have looked to me to ensure their memories are captured in still for ever – that all those little details that matter so much are right there to look back upon. Â It excites me to think that you will all see how the changes I will be making are for you, to ensure that your children and their children have something tangible to look at, hold and talk about!
If you are interested in this special, it may be the only time I offer it this way – with the session fee waived. The reason I’m doing it this way is I really want to educate on why prints, canvases and albums are better then a disk in your drawer!
So here it is… no obligation beyond $100…I’ve decided to offer 3 locations to cover all the Lower Mainland!
