If you are expecting to welcome a new tiny human to your family, I’m sure you are trying to plan out all the things that you feel you’ll need.
Having a photographer at your side to capture the emotion, the details, the moment leading up to your baby coming Earth side is a service that I am truly honoured to be considered for. Of course many people’s first thought of having a photographer in the delivery room are images that may not be appropriate for all to see, but it is completely the opposite. Images captured during a birth session cover so many things. All the little details that you do not want to forget, the little glances, than hand holding, the hand gripping ;), the tears, the joy, the laugher. It encompasses the taste in the air that day, was it sunny, frosty, raining… or first thing in the morning or late at night. I am able to create lasting memories of the single most important day of your life, the day you become a parent, or welcome a new addition to your family.
I know that when I welcomed my own 3 beautiful humans to the world, I was very unaware of the first 24 hrs. I was in a fog from having to have c sections with all of mine. I would have loved to have someone there to capture everything for me to look back on, so this is something I am passionate about providing to others.
Birth sessions can be booked for photos only, but personally I like to include video with all of them.
