What can I say….I love me a baby with some chub!! Little Emery didn’t disappoint at close to 10lbs!!
I loved that I was able to go and meet his precious young lady at the hospital and capture a few of her first photos as well as here at 8 Days!
Emery was fantastic for her session. She slept through things I would have never thought she would – what a trooper 🙂 I do always love posting sibling photos and how adorable they can be together, but I thought there was a good photo in here to also remind us that as much as we ‘hope’ to get that perfect shot with their new baby brother or sister… it may not always work. I’ve included a family shot here that really summed up how it was going at the time. Lucky Daddy was just about to get a head butt from his endearing little Libby…sometimes it’s just chaos and that’s normal!! We know when to call it quits and be happy with what we did get! Life is full of surprises.
I have to say that I just loved Emery in all the dark colours – I usually gravitate to white/light colours but she looked amazing on the deep purple. Hope you agree!!
