It has been an honour to join these amazing families at Camp Goodtimes this summer. I really feel so blessed to be able to share in their week of fun!
These families have been through or are going through the unimaginable; one of their precious babies is fighting the ugly disease of Cancer. Some are in remission and some have just recently been diagnosed.
One thing you must know is that Cancer does not define these kids or their families… it is not who they are. They are fun, loving, spirited kids and enjoying every minute of Camp with their family.
There’s no doubt that Cancer comes with some really hard times, but the effort that is put forth by so many volunteers at the Camp makes for amazing memories for everyone! I can’t begin to imagine the strain this has on a family and on Mom + Dad’s relationship, so I love that we got pictures of just the parents too!
I’m so excited to be a part of this and to provide each family with a series of fun family photos to look back upon and remember Camp.
Looking forward to going back for the July Camp and for many years to come!!
